Week Of October 26, 2013

Eminem and Rihanna collaborated again and made a song I wish was on Hit-Bound. Before we get to this week's Fresh 14, here are the songs we're saying goodbye to this week.

  • Cher Lloyd – I Wish
  • Enrique Iglesias – Heart Attack
  • New Politics – Harlem

The Hit-Bound List
  • Calvin Harris ft. Ayah Marar – Thinking About You (DEBUT)
  • Haim – The Wire
  • Rihanna – What Now
  • Serebro – Mi Mi Mi (DEBUT)
  • Panic! At The Disco ft. Lolo – Miss Jackson
  • Sara Bareilles – Brave (DEBUT)
  • Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – White Walls
  • Ellie Goulding – Burn
  • The Wanted – We Own The Night
  • Goldhouse – Feel Good
  • Bastille – Pompeii
  • OneRepublic – Counting Stars
  • Zedd ft. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night
  • Midnight Red – Hell Yeah

Calvin Harris has now made a song following I Need Your Love. Thinking About You is interesting. If I accidentally type Thinking Of You instead of Thinking About You, don't be surprised. I may do that. Ayah Marar's vocals are nice.

Sara Bareilles – Brave sounds a lot like Katy Perry – Roar. Except it's better. I didn't think I'd be giving Sara Bareilles a positive review. But after she sang with OneRepublic in Come Home, I knew she can't be that bad.

I have nothing to say about Serebro – Mi Mi Mi.

Last week, Avril Lavigne – Rock N Roll debuted the Weekend Countdown. Wax – Rosana also left the same week as Avril Lavigne. However, it debuted this past weekend.

The three songs that left this week all debuted the Weekend Countdown with Enrique Iglesias having the highest debut of the week.

My Top 5 Picks
1. The Wanted – We Own The Night
2. Panic! At The Disco ft. Lolo – Miss Jackson
3. OneRepublic – Counting Stars
4. Midnight Red – Hell Yeah
5. Ellie Goulding – Burn

Week Of October 12, 2013

The Hit-Bound review is back. I have not abandoned you. It appears Hit-Bound has 14 songs. Before we get to this week's Fresh 14, here are the songs we're saying goodbye to this week.
  • Hunter Hayes – I Want Crazy
  • Imagine Dragons – Demons
  • Robin Thicke – Give It 2 U
The Hit-Bound List
  • Cher Lloyd – I Wish
  • OneRepublic – Counting Stars (DEBUT)
  • Goldhouse – Feel Good
  • Rihanna – What Now
  • Haim – The Wire (DEBUT)
  • Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – White Walls
  • The Wanted – We Own The Night
  • Wax – Rosanna (DEBUT)
  • Midnight Red – Hell Yeah
  • Ellie Goulding – Burn
  • Panic! At The Disco ft. Lolo – Miss Jackson
  • New Politics – Harlem
  • Zedd ft. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night
  • Avril Lavigne – Rock N Roll
First we have OneRepublic – Counting Stars. OneRepublic is one of my favorite bands. I love all their music. Especially Counting Stars. I find OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder and Maroon 5's Adam Levine share a lot of similarities. Counting Stars is by far the best song on Hit-Bound.

Wax – Rosanna is terrible. It may be a Hits 1 Exclusive. But this is just bad. That's all I have to say about it.

Haim – The Wire is sort of good and sort of bad but mostly sort of bad. It is actually one of my least favorite songs currently on Hit-Bound. It is at least better than Wax – Rosanna.

Hunter Hayes – I Want Crazy, Imagine Dragons – Demons, and Robin Thicke – Give It 2 U all debuted the Weekend Countdown.

Pretty slow week. Nothing going on.

My Top 5 Picks
1. OneRepublic – Counting Stars
2. Avril Lavigne – Rock N Roll
3. Panic! At The Disco ft. Lolo – Miss Jackson
4. Ellie Goulding – Burn
5. Midnight Red – Hell Yeah

Week of September 7, 2013

This is my first post for my new Hit-Bound, where most of our songs currently on the Weekend Countdown came from, review. I believe each week has 15 songs but I'm not exactly sure. I've never listened to Hit-Bound that much. If there are no new songs or no songs leaving (which I don't know if that even happens), then I may not make a post for that week. I also have a Weekend Countdown review blog. I will try to post every weekend's review as soon as possible. For those of you who don't know what Hit-Bound is, it is a show where they play new music. They call it "Ear Poppin' Music". Before we get to this week's 15, here are the songs leaving Hit-Bound.

  • Eminem - Berzerk
  • Enrique Iglesias - Turn The Night Up
  • Phillip Phillips - Gone Gone Gone
Hit-Bound List
  • Avril Lavigne - Rock N Roll
  • Demi Lovato - Made In The USA
  • Ellie Goulding - Burn (DEBUT)
  • Fall Out Boy - Alone Together
  • Flo Rida ft. Pitbull - Can't Believe It
  • fun. - Out On The Town
  • Goldhouse - Feel Good
  • Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness
  • Lorde - Royals (DEBUT)
  • Midnight Red - Hell Yeah
  • The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather
  • Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight
  • Robin Thicke - Give It 2 U
  • Selena Gomez - Slow Down (DEBUT)
  • The Wanted - We Own The Night

My favorite debut is Lorde - Royals. It doesn't have many instruments being played, but it is still interesting. My least favorite debut is Ellie Goulding - Burn. That doesn't mean I don't like it. I just like the other debuts more. Ellie Goulding has made better. Like Lights. We know how she cooperated with Calvin Harris in I Need Your Love. She's good but this song doesn't show it.

Last but not least we have Selena Gomez - Slow Down which is almost as good as Come & Get It. It is really good at first glance. No Selena Gomez song can be better than Come & Get It. But Slow Down is almost there.

Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight just keeps becoming more interesting every time I hear it.

The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather just keeps becoming less interesting every time I hear it.

Where did Eminem - Berzerk, Phillip Phillips - Gone Gone Gone, and Enrique Iglesias - Turn The Night Up go you might ask. They all debuted the Weekend Countdown this past weekend with Eminem - Berzerk as the highest debut.

My Top 5 Picks
1. The Wanted - We Own The Night
2. Fall Out Boy - Alone Together
3. Olly Murs - Dance With Me Tonight
4. Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness
5. Lorde - Royals
